The Laceleaf Japanese Maple stands 10 feet high and 12 feet wide, with a pendulous growth habit and silver pubescens on new growth.

Vanderwolf's Blue Pine

Common name:Vanderwolf's Blue Pine
Botanical name:Pinus flexilis 'Vanderwolf's Pyramid'

Vanderwolf's Pyramid Pine is a distinctive, densely branched, pyramidal selection of Limber Pine. Its branches display long, twisting, blue green needles with a light blue line on the undersides. Choose a north or east exposure protected from the wind for this pine. Pines are highly combustible plants. It needs full sun to part shade.

Growing to about 8' tall, this evergreen shrub has green foliage with yellow variegation.

Red Clusterberry Cotoneaster

Botanical name:Cotoneaster lacteus

This is an evergreen shrub that grows to a size of 8' tall with long, arching branches. Cotoneaster exhibits dark green leaves above and gray beneath with dusky red fruit. It requires sun to part shade with little or no watering. This plant is tough enough to naturalize in many areas in CA, and should be considered potentially invasive.
