This fast-growing, coniferous evergreen is capable of reaching a size of 80' high by 40' wide. Its needles are a light, silvery green color, 2" long. Flowers are inconspicuous. Barrel shaped cones appear in fall and winter. Branches are pendulous and spreadings. Plant in area that has ample room for growth.

The 'Italica' is a beautiful, fast-growing, upright, columnar, deciduous tree. Its leaves are bright green, 4" in length with a triangular shape. These leaves turn bright yellow in the fall season. It can be used as an exellent windbreak or skyline tree.

Vanderwolf's Pyramid Pine is a distinctive, densely branched, pyramidal selection of Limber Pine. Its branches display long, twisting, blue green needles with a light blue line on the undersides. Choose a north or east exposure protected from the wind for this pine. Pines are highly combustible plants. It needs full sun to part shade.

This clumping, grass-like perennial can be planted in full sun in coastal areas but needs afternoon shade in warm inland areas This CA native has small pink flowers that resemble pom poms that bloom in spring and summer. This cute flower can be used between pavers as it can tolerate light foot traffic. Overall height of plant is about 1' tall. It is drought tolerant near coastal areas but requires more water in hot summer areas.

As a large, slow-growing conifer, this tree requires ample room for growth. Its needles are 1" long, and its foliage (needles) is a beautiful shade of silvery blue. In order to develop its best color, the tree needs to be exposed to full sun. It can reach up to 40' tall.
