This round shrub will grow to about 3' high and has small, gray green leaves with purple flowers that bloom in summer. It is more prostrate than its parent Lavandula stoechas. The flowers resemble a purple pineapple! 'Otto Quast' is drought tolerant once it is established and cold tolerant to 5 degrees F.

This tree will grow very slowly to 25' tall and 3' wide. It has dark green foliage with a lot of branches. The tree is upright, narrow, and very dense. It looks great in Mediterranean and formal gardens, also in containers. It tolerates ocean spray. Foliage is blue green. Use this plant as a windbreak. Once this plant is established, it is drought tolerant.

Windmill Palm

This easy-to-grow palm of medium height will mature to a size of 30', and its slender trunk is covered with dense, heavy fiber topped with a crown of rich green, fan-shaped leaves that could spread 8' wide. Once it's established, it needs occasional watering. This is a great palm for a tropical theme near the pool.
