Common name:Chanticleer Callery Pear
Botanical name:Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer'

This dependable tree quickly reaches 25'-30' high and 15' wide. It has an upright pyramidal form. Oval, glossy green leaves turn reddish bronze in fall. White flowers bloom in spring, densely covering the tree. 'Chanticleer' shows changes in the 4 seasons. It is drought tolerant once it's established. It's a great urban tree as it tolerates air pollution.

Otto Quast Spanish Lavender

Common name:Otto Quast Spanish Lavender
Botanical name:Lavandula stoechas 'Otto Quast'

This round shrub will grow to about 3' high and has small, gray green leaves with purple flowers that bloom in summer. It is more prostrate than its parent Lavandula stoechas. The flowers resemble a purple pineapple! 'Otto Quast' is drought tolerant once it is established and cold tolerant to 5 degrees F.

This narrow tree will grow to about 25' tall and has small, green, scaled leaves.

Silky Leaf Woodwaxen

Common name:Silky Leaf Woodwaxen
Botanical name:Genista pilosa

This broom is less invasive than its cousins. It is a prostrate shrub/groundcover growing not much beyond a foot in height. It has magnificient yellow blooms in spring.
