This attractive ground cover reaches 1' tall and 6' wide. It is very low, spreading, and mound-like -- resembling a natural bonsai. One of the best Junipers for small garden spaces! Dense evergreen foliage is blue green. This Juniper is great for erosion control, difficult hillsides and in coastal areas. This Juniper can be pruned into a topiary or used for Asian themed gardens. It's great in small spaces. It prefers full to part sun and needs occasional watering once it's established.

Orchid rockrose is an evergreen shrub growing to 4' tall and wide, often shorter in stressful situations. The rosy-crimson flowers to 3" wide exhibit a dark purple blotch at the base of each petal, and bloom early to mid-summer. The flowers also feature a contrasting yellow cluster of stamens in the center. It does well in salt spray and cool winds. The 'Prostratus' grows to a height of 2'-3' with a spread to 8'. Its flowers are pale, lavender-blue in color, and the leaves are needle-like with a dark, blue-green color. This plant makes a good ground cover, and its leaves can be used as seasoning in cooking. Bloomtime is winter and spring, but also intermittently throughout the year. This ground cover like full sun and well draining soil. It is drought tolerant once it's established.
