Flowers have 19-21,star-shaped petals. It takes about 3 years before first bloom appears but it is well worth the wait. This tree reaches 10' tall and 20' wide. Frost can destroy blooms. Give your sprinkler system a checkup when turning it on in the spring and occasionally during the summer.
Trim branches that are obstructing spray patterns and raise sprinklers that are too low for spray to clear the grass.
