Description

The noticeably long-stalked leaves of this plant are usually divided into leafleats, and are decorated with large flowers, born singly or in clusters. The Lenten-rose should be planted in good soil with a generous amount of organic material added. It should be fed only once or twice every year, and should not be moved very often due to its slow re-establishment.

Water Saving Tip:

Consider replacing some lawn areas with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.

Good candidates for removal are portions of large lawns, areas where no one uses the grass, patches that don't grow well, or spaces too small to water without overspray.
