Description

This plant is a great spring-summer "bulb". You get more "bang for the buck" with Ranunculus. It can be grown from seed and naturalizes in mild climates. The odd-looking rhizome is planted "toes-down". Ranunculus ficaria is invasive in this region. Other varieties are better to use.

Water Saving Tip:

Consider replacing some lawn areas with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.

Good candidates for removal are portions of large lawns, areas where no one uses the grass, patches that don't grow well, or spaces too small to water without overspray.
