Description

Hostas are low mounding perennials that come in a dizzying array of leaf colors and flower colors. Usually that have large oval like leaves and can range in size from just a few inches to several feet. They are shade plants and are great for understories. Hostas with variegated leaves, of which there are plenty make great accent plants.

Water Saving Tip:

Consider replacing some lawn areas with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.

Good candidates for removal are portions of large lawns, areas where no one uses the grass, patches that don't grow well, or spaces too small to water without overspray.
