Description

Vitis labrusca is a deciduous vine used for fruit, wine and shade. A single grapevine produces enough new growth every year to roof an arbor, arch a walkway, or shade over a terrace or deck. This vine needs full sun, medium water and good drainage. It can remain productive for 50 years or longer. The vines should only be pruned in the winter. The vines can grow 10'-20' long.

Water Saving Tip:

An easy water-wise improvement in lawn areas is to change high output spray sprinkler nozzles to low-flow rotators.

You'll have less runoff and be less likely to apply more water than is needed.
