Description

Lavatera arborea is a tree-like plant that reaches 34"-48" tall. During the summer to the first frost, shades of pink or white may be seen on this plant, which could be a biennial, perennial or annual. It takes full sun and needs well-drained soil. It is a good cut flower plant. Flowers may have 2-7 petals and are funnel-shaped. The leaves have distinctive white markings and fade to green when it gets warm.
