Description

Cornus stolonifera is a lovely 6'-10' deciduous shrub with showy red stems and fall color. Flat heads of creamy white flowers occur in spring and contrast attractively with burgundy colored young twigs. This shrub is native to streams and moist, shaded slopes. This is a good shrub for year-round color interest (bark, flowers and foliage). It prefers moist areas and light shade.
